When you set up your Xero connection, the connection is set up by a User that has access to both CartonCloud and your Xero account.
The connection to Xero is being handled by a specific User. If the user settings are changed or terminated, CartonCloud will need to re-connect to Xero again.
To fix this head to the Organisation Settings under the Invoice tab and you will see an option to "Reconnect":
