Issue with sale order picking lists

We have recently changed the document template for sale order picking lists.

The issue we have is that the UOM on the template, shows the UOM as the base unit of measure for the product – for majority of my customers, this is KGs.

When we were using the CartonCloud version, it would convert the kilograms using the packaging conversions set up in the system.

For example, 20 KGs would be converted to 2 Bags and 1000KGs would be converted to 1 IBC for example.

Since we made the change, everything is now showing as KGs and it is making hard for our pickers to quantify how much they need to pick. They pick by packaging quantity, not weight.

Can you please let me know what can be done to make it so the packaging quantity (as per the default template) is shown and not the weight? The placeholders look the same, so we are really not sure what it is.

In CartonCloud the default Sale Order Pack List template is built in an excel spreadsheet file.

As part of the excel file functionality, we have the ability to use a formula to convert any Base Units of Measure upwards and return the highest unit of measure available.

However once you customise a document template for the Sale Order Picking List (Customising Document Templates (optional), this then uses a PDF format, which does not have the same capability (See Organisation Settings Warehouse)

If you wish to use the customised PDF version of your Sale Order Picking List, you will no longer be able to have the excel sheet functionality.
