When the ZPL file is uploaded the system scans it and checks it begins with the ^XA tag and ends with the ^XZ tag. This is to validate it is ZPL code.
As the system begins from line 1 in the file the most likely explanation of why the system rejected the file is either:
1. The file does not contain the tags above.
or
2. There is a blank line at the beginning of the file (in which case, ensure that the ZPL code begins on the first line of the file).
