This can be set up using the Fee Category of "Percentage of Value" in the Rate Card.
To se this up, you will need to first work out the maximum $ value that the invoice value would be to return a charge of $50.00 or more (based on the % that you are charging).
For this example we are using a basic rate of 10% to make it easier to see the set up.
To return a rate of $50 based on a 10% charge, the maximum invoice value would be greater than $501.
Now that you have the maximum invoice value worked out, you can go ahead and set up your conditional rates.
1. Select "Percentage of Value" in your Fee Category
2. The first conditional would be Invoice Value <= 500 the charge would be 0.1 (enter this in the field for the $, where the % is entered as a value less than a whole number. For example 10% will be entered as 0.1, 5% would be entered as 0.5)
3. Add a second conditional for Invoice Value > 501, the $ value is $50 and select Flat
Now you have a rate that will return a % of invoice for any consignment up to the value of $500 and all consignment values over this will only be charged a $50 flat fee
